Senator Amy Klobuchar wrote in 2020:
Senator Klobuchar’s Plan for the Future of Work and a Changing Economy:
“Senator Klobuchar will establish a dedicated fund to make a down payment to tackle the U.S. debt and protect our economy.
She will initially seed the fund with .”
She'd been in the Senate for 14 years and was 60 years old when she wrote was equivalent to: “The PTA will fund our cafeteria milk-money account! Yay!”
According to the IRS: Corp taxes totaled “$373.9 billion for 2020.” So Klobuchar's economic "plan" would have increased
taxes by 80%, and of course corporations and their shareholders are boundless charities and just LOVE paying 80% more (without cutting jobs or moving to Ireland) for Amy's and Walz's efficient government programs that "deliver" free lunches and everything else. (The cost of free school meals could well be in the noise—I don't know—and kids and their schools and non-growling stomachs are priorities up there with national defense; but spending without ever asking about cost leads to—surprise!—a $35T debt that will crush kids' futures.) Assuming Amy actually has a modicum of real-understanding that businesses are in business to make money, what kind of campaign "management" did she have that would post such drivel? Just the prospect of any realistic passage of her $300B pipe dream would cause companies to pull-back growth and hiring plans in the US. makeamericageekyagain@gmail.com
